'Don't only practice your art, but force your way into its secrets; art deserves that, for it and knowledge can raise man to the Divine.'
Ludwig van Beethoven
Following our trend of failing forwards, we look at another step we take to ensure we continue to progress on our journey. Going into points 3 & 4 from the original Fear of Failure blog, we dive into the power of belief and immersion in its best form, practice.
Practice - 'The actual application or use of an idea, belief, or method, as opposed to theories relating to it'
Taking our words and executing them into actions is a fantastic builder of confidence, belief and ability. Once the courage has enabled us to be prepared andready for action to occur, the feeling after the execution is bliss. This is the moment we realise that we have much more within ourselves than we thought, you might execute brilliantly for your first time, it might be a struggle but that result isn't important. This is just the beginning and the first building block on your wall of greatness. The continuing form of practicing our art, no matter the task breeds that belief that runs through our mental veins and resonates on the surface as confidence. As we practice, we increase our ability and allow it to become second nature within ourselves.
Unfortunately, we can't bank all the rewards from each session, we have to perceiver through and raise our foundations time after time.
The hard work begins now..
